PrideStaff currently is representing a client who is in need of a Graphics Design Sign Maker! This organization is located in Grand Rapids and has the opportunity for high amounts of overtime.
Responsibilities:
· Preparing substrates and applying vinyl according to written instructions
· Mount and/or laminate prints including operating and setting up the laminator for over laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digital imaged products
· Follow a layout to place computer generated vinyl or full-color graphic images on predetermined substrate or medium
· Prepare substrates for vinyl application including, but not limited to, cutting, laminating, cleaning and maintaining the substrates for vinyl applications
· Perform quality assurance measures before and after production by accurately reading and interpreting a work order and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
· Perform finishing operations- client is willing to train
· Professional communication with other employees
· Assisting in unloading and storing raw materials
· Clean and maintain storage areas
· Multi task with multiple projects simultaneously
Candidate Requirements:
· Ability to stand for long periods
· Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Preferred:
· Working knowledge of Microsoft OS
· Working knowledge of Adobe
