Research Assistant

We are the community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
We are seeking a Research Assistant to be responsible to coordinate and help run human clinical trials at Network180. They will assist in patient recruitment for studies, manage the day-to-day details of the studies, oversee study visits, and compile, file, and report data to central research sites. The qualified candidate will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with leading institutions around the country. Opportunities for travel and advancement will also be possibilities. Provides administrative support of a moderately complex nature to the Medical Director.
This is a regularly scheduled position, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. There may be occasional requirements for travel. The schedule will be based upon 30 hours a week. No weekends or holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, social work, or nursing.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in research, specifically human clinical trials in schizophrenia, or neuropsychological testing, preferred.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
