Position Description
The Quotations Manager is responsible to oversee and lead day-to-day operations of the Quotations Department. Primary responsibilities include large program RFQ oversight, non-stock sourcing, contract price refresh, and opportunity metric tracking. Continuous improvements streamlining procedures and methods to meet/exceed customer demand are a core expectation. Manages and executes corporate quotation activities with a business ownership mindset, aligning actions and decisions to ensure profitable business results.
Build sound internal and external partnerships supporting best practice initiatives regarding communication, output quality, team integrity, talent management, and unparalleled customer service.
* Develop and maintain high level of communication with customer (internal/external) related to RFQ Status
* Establish metrics to deliver consistent and timely customer quotation responses
* Primary point of contact to Sales M anagement supporting sales opportunities related to sourcing, costing, and pricing functions
* Interacts with product management, vendor management for alignment and revision
* Contract management with pricing and rebated pricing
* Determine RFQ priorities and program requirements
* Develop strong team relationships to increase communication and productivity
* Evaluate online quoting processes
* Build a strong internal network with Regional Operation Managers, Sales and Supply Chain business partners to ensure strategic alignment
* Create a culture of engaged, empowered, enthusiastic and committed team members inspired to deliver great service
* Understand various market conditions and the promoting of relevant service offerings that position E & R/Grainger to capture market share

Position Requirements
* 5 - 7 years' experience in manufacturing or quoting field
* Expert level Excel skills, proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibilities
* Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
* Energetic, friendly, outgoing, proactive personality
* Willing to learn and grow with the company
* Demonstrated success in building and sustaining cross-functional partnerships and teams.
* Ability to influence and persuade vertically and horizontally across the business to achieve results.
* Demonstrates agility to adapt to changing demands and effectively manage competing priorities with customers (End-User, Sales Mgmt, Senior Mgmt)
* Strong business acumen - Capable of interpreting and understandi ng financial reporting and economic concepts to adequately respond to business needs
* Proven ability to lead and drive results within a single or multiple location in a manner consistent with Grainger values & performance drivers
