The Walker Supervisor works side by side with the team leads and team members to ensure that Tubelite products are produced correctly and shipped on time and complete. Responsibilities
•Oversee the Walker Production & Warehouse teams on the shift assigned
•Help perform assembly and warehouse duties when required
•Help train and ensure all employees are trained to perform their duties safely.
•Direct work flow and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations
•Track and approve time and attendance for Walker production team members
•Communicate results, goals and improvement plans by conducting regular team meetings focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost KPIs
•Work with Client Services department team members to solve customer and/or product issues
•Enforce work rules and safety regulations
•Administer employee reviews that focus on employee development
•Coach, counsel and discipline employees as necessary
•Lead and support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve performance
•Assist Human Resources team members to select and appropriately staff for current and future production demands
•Foster an environment that promotes Tubelite's Core Values, Apogee's Code of Conduct and customer value
•Develop respectful relationships with team members that fosters a healthy work environment and encourages retention Requirements
•AS Degree
•Minimum 5 years of experience in production leadership, preferably in a manufacturing environment
•Ability to work flexible schedules and weekend hours, when required
•Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices and tools
•Willing to be hands-on, working side by side production team members
•Excellent communication and team building skills
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Excellent computer skills Preferred
