As Manager of Financial Reporting - you will lead finance and business partner to The Delfield Company** and will be responsible for all financial responsibilities including sales, operations, SG&A, capital and EVA. You will also be responsible for the adherence to generally accepted accounting principles, global accounting policies, processes and controls, maintenance of its financial records, consolidation of financial results, preparation of internal and external financial reports, SOX, and the annual plan and strategic plan budgeting processes.
Reporting directly to the SVP & CFO; this position is based in Mount Pleasant, MI.

Major Accountability:
*Development and implementation of strategic and operating plans.
*Provide counsel to the factories on commercial matters, operational matters and strategy.
*Ensure proper financial controls are in place in accordance with SOX rules.
*Analysis and guidance to support business development (acquisition/programs/new services/joint venture/alliances), cost reduction, PCTO, and reorganization actions.
*Essential Job Functions:
*Leadership role in the development and implementation of the annual business plan/re-estimates.
*Work with the centralized sales forces/other regions to develop the annual sales plans. Work with the factories and to prepare and achieve annual financial objectives.
*Responsible for consolidating, reconciling, explaining, presenting and submitting monthly financial results and related reporting packages.
*Leadership and implementation responsibility for establishing and maintaining non-financial operational metrics and scorecards related to business and project plans.
*Primary liaison to the One Team/One Playbook group, responsible for establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures, policies, RACI and Similar.
*Provide analysis and guidance to the global tax and treasury functions to support legal requirements and initiatives (hedging/tax planning/fx structures).
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a Public Accounting or other similar position within a private organization is required.
*CPA is required.
*Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with the board of directors.
*Must be articulate with the issues and present solutions to problems.
*Normal office environment. Periods of overtime required at month/quarter and year-end or as projects require.
*Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
