ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Learning Delivery Administrator role is responsible for the delivery of HR learning courses to Dow employees, leaders and executives at geographic sites as well as to global clients via virtual delivery technology.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
- Provide HR course planning, scheduling and administration services.
- Validate vendor invoices for learning services and submit to Talent Management Leader for payment
- Contribute to continuous improvement opportunities with exiting work processes
- Generate standard Learning Reports for area of responsibility to aid in day-to-day monitoring of learning events
- Provide support to learners on an as needed basis (class/session information, registration process, cancellation process
- Work process coach acting as first level technical & work process support for peer delivery of day-to-day operational responsibilities. Also plays a key role in on-boarding new employees and delivering work process training
- Provide session management and technical support to facilitators and participants globally during virtual classroom sessions. This service is provided to all of Dow functions for delivery of any course using LearnLinc/iLinc Virtual Delivery Technology
- Administer Global HR Facilitator Process
- Administration of the Educational Assistance Policy for North America employees and Higher Educational Process for Canada.
- Manage Session Level 1 Feedback Evaluations
ACTIVITIES
- Receive direction from and collaborate with Geography Learning Activity Leader to plan & schedule HR courses.
- Schedule courses, facilitators and facilities within LMS.
- Remain current with MyLearning (LMS) changes in function and process
- Administer course, invitation, registration, confirmation & cancellation processes as appropriate.
- Monitor course sessions and lead discussion to determine cancellation or postponement of scheduled session based on multiple factors (class size, facilitator availability, emerging corporate/business priorities, weather, etc).
- Secure and Confirm qualified facilitators & arrange transportation/travel as appropriate.
- Order course materials for facilitators & participants from Global Materials Management ensuring proper charges to the function.
- Coordinate with site facilities management resources the delivery of appropriate facilitation and course needs (conference room, flip charts, a/v equipment, room set-up, food and beverages).
- Ensures learning set-up is complete, including preparing live tech environments for virtual courses.
- Collect & share feedback/ratings on facilities, facilitators & courses
- Return any unused material to GMM for processing
- Record student course completions within LMS.
- Ensure all Learning Services expenditures follow operating discipline guidelines and submit for payment using GERS process
- Identify and communicate cost saving and efficiencies within learning delivery
- Run MyLearning reports on a daily basis or upon request
- Send links and instructions to aid with enrollment and cancellation activities
- Contribute to the overall team performance by providing guidance and training to employees new in their role or assignment of tasks
- Create and manage all virtual classroom session requests; monitor courses at all times to ensure system functionality and end-user support
- Work with Geography Activity Leaders to identifying facilitator resource gaps, scheduling Train-the-Trainer sessions to onboard new facilitators, maintaining active facilitator lists by course and geography, lead facilitator recognition process and maintain facilitator resource web site.
- Utilize educational assistance reporting tool and work process
- Manage the collection of Level 1 Feedback for sessions. Prepare and send session feedback summary to session facilitator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Technical or Associates degree desired, but experience will be considered as well
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 – 5 years prior office experience preferred
TECHNICAL:
- Strong written and verbal English are required
- iLinc technical training and certification
- Completion of CP4852 in MyLearning – Learning Delivery Administrator Training
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
