Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm - Part Time
Compiles, processes, and maintains records of business transactions and office activities by performing the following duties,
- Prepares invoices, listing ingredients sold, amounts due, weights, and dates of shipment.
- Verify freight rates and material costs.
- Publish daily ingredients contract reports.
- Accurately file invoices and associated Ingredients paperwork.
- Access back-up data as needed.
- Research problems related to invoices, customer problems, and billing errors.
- Operates office machines such as faxing, adding, calculating, and duplicating machines.
- Assists in answering phones
- Will be required to perform other duties and special projects as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and invoicing principles.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
- High degree of customer service and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including knowledge of Internet Explorer, Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
