DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Overview/Description:
Ford is seeking a member to join our Vehicle Dynamics team. This position involves utilizing CAE tools, developing new CAR tools, as well as vehicle testing and analysis of vehicle performance. This position is located in Allen Park, MI.
Responsibilities:
* This position involves performing CAE and test based analysis to support the delivery of high performance vehicle programs.
* Utilize CAE tools to support an efficient development process.
* Develop new CAE tools and refine existing CAE tools to help deliver overall vehicle performance, steering and handling.
* Inform vehicle tests as required; interpret test results to guide development.
* Provide analysis of full vehicle performance to vehicle dynamic attribute and performance targets; assist in the analysis of current and future hardware choices as related to these targets
