FederalMogul's Powertrain Division is looking for an OESales Manager thatwill be responsible for The OE Sales Manager will act as liaisonbetween customers and F-M Engineering, F-M Manufacturing teams and will be themain F-M representative interacting with the Purchasing, Marketing,Engineering, and Quality functions at each customer. This position isresponsible for developing new business opportunities for sustainable,profitable sales growth of Lighting Products. This person will become a valued member of our Lightingteam, where we strive to promotefrom within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement arestrong.
An ideal candidate forthis position is a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business in and provenprofessional experience in Engineering or Sales. Having the ability to performdetailed customer presentations, managing and coordinating multiple projectsconcurrently, evaluating the business issues and prioritizing activities areall necessary qualifications for this position. * Responsible to develop and implement LightingProduct sales and business strategies required in the region to ensure the achievementof FM's business objectives
* Develop key customer relationships for LightingProducts in the region, particularly automotive interior lighting applications,at both OEM and Tier 1 level
* Lead the commercial interfaces into thecustomers' Engineering organization, i.e., lead the technical selling process
* Support the technical prospecting anddevelopment of new business by influencing the customers' engineering to sourceF-M Lighting
* Develop new accounts, markets, or productniches that allow the organization continued growth and profit
* Establish close contact with all relevantcustomers purchasing, engineering, quality and manufacturing personnel to gaintheir assistance in the maintenance of current business and development of newbusiness
* Ensure that all commercial, engineering,technical, and quality issues are discussed and resolved with the appropriatecustomers and internal personnel
* Develop sales plan/forecast, long termstrategic plan, and competitor informationREQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Businesspreferred
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5-8 years of relevant work experience Have the ability to perform detailed customer presentations, and have the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently Have a proficient knowledge of internal and customer systems and how to use them to benefit the business Have the ability to evaluate the business issues and prioritize activities Travel will be required to support the customer and to support/develop new opportunities
