Dematic Corp has an immediate need for Vice President of North America Customer Service Salesat our North American Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI. This key position is ultimately responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with the customers of Dematic as well as our competitors to promote and sell the following Dematic Services:
-Modernizations & Upgrades
-Resident Maintenance On-Site Service Teams
-Field Service
-Technical Support Desk
-Managed Services
-Parts Logistics and Repair
Job Family Responsibilities: Sets strategy and daily activity of a seasoned sales organization to generate profitable business and lasting relationships with Dematic’s installed customer base. Role includes being the Executive Sponsor with key client management, developing and executing a detailed annual business plan, the coaching, measuring and empowering of a sales team and collaborating with the other segments and teams within Customer Service and Dematic. Accountable for forecasting order entry and margin and attainment thereof.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. Area of responsibility has high strategic, long-term impact. Often is required to create/conceptualize new systems, programs, or products with significant business impact. Develops and manages the CS Sales organization budget and business plans for the largest and most complex projects or directs multiple functional areas. Has full latitude to create and conceptualize strategic long-range programs for area of responsibility or products and to forecast their impact; Analyzes effectiveness of products and establishes future direction for functional policies and programs or products that affect company as a whole; Aligns products and development efforts with company strategies. Identifies cross-functional resource needs with complete authority to approve identified needs. Acts as an advisor that troubleshoots and resolves abstract problems within multi-departments or cross-functional areas. Approves organizational structures and supervisory relationships of multiple functional areas. Responsible for overall success of major functional areas through assessment of intangible variables.
