Job Description:
Dematic has an immediate need for a Business Intelligence Analyst within the Customer Service Division to work with Business Development on strategic planning. The successful candidate will have at least two years in an analytical role utilizing internal data which produces business trend analysis.

The position of a Business Intelligence Analyst is a highly specialized position with a plethora of challenges and responsibilities. The Business Intelligence Analyst’s main responsibility is to ensure the operational efficiency and excellence of the Customer Service Business Development organization. The Business Intelligence Analyst designs and documents work flow and data, manages and provides solutions to new business unit ideas, trends, and concepts appropriately through the latest technological paths. The Business Intelligence Analyst understands the customer’s business requirements and business process management, and then translates them from data to usable statistical trend analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Evaluating the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys, workshops.
* Collecting and analyzing the project’s business requirements and transferring the same knowledge to development team.
* Providing suggestions to the Vice President, Business Development, Customer Service during the development stage to meet the business needs.
* Business data mining from multiple sources to generate ad-hoc reports and identify data trends.
* Leading Data Governance procedures and practices for Customer Service Business Development (CSBD)
* Good understanding of corporate business data to initiate data mapping for business tool enhancements.
* Leading Department Data Stewardship for ERP and CRM tools
* Documenting and maintaining consistent data, metadata definitions and standards across the CSBD data landscape.
* Analyzing data for quality and resolving data integrity issues across stakeholders
* Preparing accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
* Communicating effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver product’s functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs.
* Documenting the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining sign-off from the appropriate client.
* Designing and executing the test scripts and test scenarios.
* Coordinating with the groups of business unit who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
* Managing any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines.
Direction of Others:
This position is primarily responsible for developing team relationships through many intra-organizational departments and provides general guidance/direction to team members.
Key Working Relationships:
Primarily intra-organizational relationships and some external contacts.
