In this position, you will be responsible for supervision of fire prevention/protection activities at high value and critical facilities. You will also oversee the emergency response services for the assigned shift at the location. In addition, you must assure compliance with applicable sections of client Global Security Manual, Standard Operating Procedure and Policy Manual, National Fire Protection Association Codes and Standards, and state, local, and federal regulations.

Works with officers to schedule all inspections that are made monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. Maintains files and records on inspectionsMaintains files and records on all fire equipmentResponds to all emergencies as outlined in local procedures. Serves as point of contact for other emergency response agenciesAssists in conducting initial fire investigations, fire related trainings, and assist Fire Chief on all plant inspections, as assignedParticipates in pre-emergency planning, facility standing committee and establishing good working relationship with the client, as directed by the Fire Chief or SpecialistEducation, Licenses and Certifications Required
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentCurrent and valid State of Michigan Firefighter I/II certificateCurrent and valid State of Michigan Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) LicenseCurrent and valid driver's licenseType and Length of Specific Experience Required
