Pay Range:
$27.00–$29.00 per hour
Travel time and eligible mileage are paid.
Hours of Work:
Part-time / per diem schedule requiring approximately 8–12 hours per week, typically 1–2 days per week.
Actual days and hours may vary depending on customer service tickets, hospital needs, equipment servicing requirements, and assigned projects.
Employees must be able to respond to and arrive at customer locations within applicable service-level requirements.
Position Summary
IQVIA is seeking a MedTech Field Service Dispensing Technician to support RepScrubs uniform management and dispensing systems at hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the Metro Detroit area.
The technician will be responsible for maintaining adequate scrub inventory, stocking dispensing machines, performing basic equipment testing, assisting with equipment setup, and ensuring uniform dispensing systems remain operational and organized.
This position is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, inventory management, organization, basic technology, and working independently in healthcare environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the Metro Detroit area.

Restock hospital scrub dispensing and vending machines.

Ensure healthcare staff have adequate access to clean uniforms and scrubs.

Unpack scrubs from shipping boxes, storage containers, and other packaging.

Organize and prepare scrubs for placement into dispensing equipment.

Move, transport, and stock scrub inventory as needed.

Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs.

Perform basic equipment testing using company-provided software.
-
Conduct routine operational checks of dispensing equipment.

Verify that equipment operates efficiently in designated hospital locations.

Record equipment test results following installation, setup, or servicing.

Assist with installation and setup of dispensing equipment when required.

Assist with connecting or refreshing hardware and software.
-
Support equipment configuration and basic troubleshooting.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe equipment and work areas.

Respond to assigned customer service tickets.

Arrive at customer locations within established Service Level Agreement requirements.

Work independently at hospital customer sites.

Communicate professionally with hospital staff and customer representatives.

Follow IQVIA and healthcare-facility safety, security, and credentialing requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation related to service visits and completed work.

Travel locally and, when necessary, nationally to support customer needs.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid and active driver's license.

Personal vehicle available for job-related travel.

Ability to travel throughout the Metro Detroit area.

Travel Requirements
Local travel throughout Metro Detroit is required.
The employee must:

Maintain an active driver's license.

Have access to a personal vehicle for job-related assignments.

Travel to hospital and healthcare customer locations.

Respond to customer service calls within required Service Level Agreement timeframes.

Be available for national travel when business needs require additional customer support.
Travel time is paid, and eligible mileage is reimbursed.
Healthcare Facility Credentialing
Because this position requires entry into hospitals and healthcare facilities, selected employees must complete applicable healthcare-facility credentialing requirements.
Depending on the customer facility, requirements may include documentation of applicable immunizations, vaccinations, tuberculosis testing, or other health and safety requirements.

Compensation
Minimum Wage: $27.00 per hour
Maximum Wage: $29.00 per hour
Actual base pay may vary depending on experience, education, skills, qualifications, location, and schedule.
Eligible travel time and mileage are paid.
This position is not eligible for IQVIA medical benefits.
