Pay Range:
$70,000–$75,000 annually
Additional incentive compensation, bonuses, benefits, or other forms of compensation may be available depending on the position offered and company eligibility requirements.
Hours of Work:
Full-time. Standard business hours will generally apply; however, actual hours may vary based on customer appointments, account needs, travel, meetings, procedures, educational events, and regional business requirements.
The position may require occasional evening and weekend work for trade shows, meetings, customer events, or training activities.
Travel Requirement:
Approximately 40%–50% travel within the assigned territory and for required business meetings or training.
Position Summary
IQVIA is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Associate to support urology sales activities throughout the Detroit, Michigan territory.
Working with Boston Scientific's Urology Division, the Sales Associate will support regional accounts, Territory Managers, and the Region Sales Manager by developing customer relationships, providing product and clinical support, assisting with educational activities, and helping increase utilization of assigned technologies.
The position requires a combination of sales ability, clinical product knowledge, relationship management, territory planning, customer service, and frequent field travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare customers and key accounts throughout the assigned territory.

Conduct regular visits to physicians, hospitals, clinics, healthcare facilities, and other customer locations.

Support Territory Managers and regional sales leadership in maintaining and growing existing accounts.

Conduct product demonstrations, educational programs, and customer in-services.

Provide clinical and product support to healthcare professionals.

Observe procedures and provide appropriate product-related support when required.

Build professional relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, materials management staff, hospital administrators, infection-control personnel, and other healthcare stakeholders.

Identify opportunities to increase utilization of targeted urology technologies.

Educate customers on applicable products, solutions, and clinical applications.

Develop knowledge of relevant disease states and treatment environments.

Work with the Region Manager and sales team to develop proactive customer-service and account-management plans.

Support professional education initiatives, field training sessions, workshops, and other educational programs.

Identify opportunities to introduce Boston Scientific products and solutions to existing and prospective customers.

Monitor regional sales trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and changing market conditions.

Provide regular updates to the Regional Manager regarding account activity, business plans, competitive developments, and sales opportunities.

Develop account-level plans consistent with the Urology Division's regional and national sales objectives.

Collaborate with Territory Managers, Sales Management, HEMA, and other internal business partners.

Utilize Salesforce, Tableau, and other sales-enablement systems to manage customer information and business activity.

Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, expenses, account activity, and field reports.

Manage assigned expense and promotional budgets according to company policies.

Submit required administrative documentation accurately and within established deadlines.

Follow company Travel & Entertainment requirements, AdvaMed guidelines, compliance policies, and professional integrity standards.

Participate in required sales meetings, trade shows, training events, and educational programs.

Travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Minimum of 1 year of successful business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.

Completion of a formal sales training program or relevant educational background.

Must reside within the assigned sales territory.

Strong sales, customer-service, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.

Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40%–50%.
