Beacon Hill's client, a leading global law firm, is seeking California-based Employment Litigation Attorneys who are actively licensed in California and have experience handling California employment litigation matters to support their team. Selected attorneys will work alongside the firm's employment litigation team, supporting the defense of employers in California wrongful termination, discrimination, and sexual harassment matters. This opportunity is well suited to attorneys with recent, substantive California employment defense experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to contribute independently within a collaborative team. * Location: Remote (Must reside in and be actively licensed in California) * Start: Likely January 2027, with the possibility of starting earlier * Estimated Duration: 6-month assignment * Concurrent employment: Not permitted * Hours: Approximately 35-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday * Pay: $100-$115/hour, depending on experience Qualifications: * Must reside in California and be actively licensed and in good standing with the California Bar * 5+ years of California employment litigation experience, including relevant work within the past three years * Experience defending employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment matters, and related employment matters Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills * Ability to refrain from all concurrent legal work throughout the assignment, including other legal employment, contract engagements, or a separate practice Responsibilities * Support California employment defense litigation from case assessment through resolution * Research and analyze California employment law and procedural issues * Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents * Analyze case materials and assist with litigation strategy and preparation * Collaborate with attorneys to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
