Diverse Staffing is hiring a Production Machine Operator in Homer, Michigan. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers weekly pay, available overtime, and an excellent benefits package upon permanent hire.
Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Training is available for candidates who are dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to work.
What You'll Do
- Operate production machinery according to work instructions and safety standards
- Load and unload materials and parts from machines
- Inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor machine performance and report issues to supervisors
- Maintain accurate production records as required
- Support production goals while working safely as part of a team
Work Environment
- Manufacturing production facility
- Fast-paced environment with quality and production expectations
- Standing and walking for most or all of the shift
- Working around machinery and moving equipment
- Noise levels typical of a manufacturing facility
- Personal protective equipment may be required
Physical Requirements
- Stand and move throughout the shift
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Bend, reach, stoop, and twist throughout the workday
- Maintain focus while performing repetitive production tasks
Must-Have Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Team-oriented attitude
- Updated resume required
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- Machine operation experience
- Production or assembly experience
