Represent Die Engineering with stamping and program partners and other Tesla sites on launch readiness, shipment status, and production support needs
What You'll Bring
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in stamping die design, die tryout, or tooling program leadership in automotive manufacturing
Deep hands-on experience with die construction and tryout: process/layout, castings and plate, binders and draw development, trim/pierce steels, dimensional buyoff, and rework/recut judgment
At least 3 years in a people-management role with a proven track record of building and leading a technical team (experience leading 10+ engineers preferred)
Strong decision-making ability under pressure, with a focus on timing, cost, and quality tradeoffs
Applies first-principles thinking to challenge and improve existing die methods
