Location: Dearborn, MI
Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days onsite per week
Pay Rate: $42.30 per hour

Join a leading engineering team and play a critical role in evaluating and improving product durability through advanced simulation techniques. This opportunity offers the chance to work on challenging engineering projects while collaborating with cross-functional design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Job Duties
Perform structural, fatigue, and durability simulations using road load data.
Conduct modal and transient analysis to evaluate component and system performance.
Complete root cause investigations and validate engineering design solutions.
Correlate virtual simulation results with physical test data to improve model accuracy.
Partner with Design and Release teams to communicate findings and recommendations.
Support resolution of quality, warranty, and performance-related engineering issues.
Utilize industry-standard CAE tools for pre-processing, analysis, and post-processing activities.
Contribute to special engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline required.
10+ years of CAE engineering experience required.
Strong background in durability and fatigue analysis.
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA), structural mechanics, and material behavior.
Proficiency with ANSA, HyperMesh, NASTRAN, OptiStruct, Abaqus, nCode, FeSafe, HyperWorks, Teamcenter, and 3DX preferred.
