SAP SD Consultant (SAP S/4HANA)Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution capabilities across order management, pricing, billing, logistics execution, integrations, testing, and production support. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, testers, and integration partners to deliver reliable, scalable, and clean-core SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional designs, configurations, test scenarios, and implementation plans.
- Configure and support SAP SD processes, including:
- Order creation, changes, and cancellations
- Pricing and billing
- Delivery processing and returns
- Third-party order processing
- Intercompany sales
- Consignment processing
- Output determination
- Customer and material master data management
- Support SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and integration with adjacent modules, including MM, FI/CO, EWM/LE, and Service Parts Planning solutions.
- Provide expertise in Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) functionality.
- Prepare and review functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, APIs, and workflow requirements.
- Collaborate with ABAP, SAP BTP, CPI/API, EDI/IDoc, Fiori, and integration teams to design and validate end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in fit-to-standard workshops, process design discussions, impact assessments, and gap analyses for SAP S/4HANA implementations and enhancements.
- Support testing activities, including:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Regression Testing
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Defect management and test evidence documentation
- Provide production support by troubleshooting incidents, performing root-cause analysis, recommending solutions, and ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Create and maintain documentation, including:
- Business process documentation
- Configuration rationale
- Functional specifications
- Training materials
- Support guides
- Cutover documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives using tools such as Jira.
