Qualifications:
- Must have a valid State of Michigan teacher certification with a BA and/or BX endorsement
- Bachelors degree is required
- Minimum of 3 years teaching
- Knowledge of MTSS framework
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of English Language Arts curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning and are in line with the State standards
- Develop and implement strategies of interventions for individual students
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school

- Demonstrate interest in the work of the Academy and a strong commitment to the moral values and dedication to providing an excellent educational foundation for learners that will enable them to be motivated and excited learners
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding information, policies, and procedures
- Ensure confidentiality of all student and Academy privileged information
