| Summary of Position: | The Title IX (Deputy Coordinator) reports to the Title IX Coordinator Administrator and supports the University’s coordinated compliance with Title IX and related University policies. The Deputy Coordinator serves as the operational deputy for day-to-day response and case administration, including intake, supportive measures, investigations, informal resolution support, records management, education, prevention, and campus outreach.
Working under the direction of the Title IX Coordinator, the Deputy Coordinator helps ensure that reports are addressed promptly, equitably, impartially, and with care; that parties understand available resources and resolution options; and that University partners across all locations receive consistent guidance. The position exercises independent judgment within delegated authority and may act on behalf of the Title IX Coordinator when assigned or when the Coordinator is unavailable. The Title IX Coordinator retains primary responsibility and final authority for University-wide Title IX compliance, policy interpretation, formal complaint determinations, and oversight of grievance processes.
The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. The University will not assist with any F-1 EADs, OPT, H-1B, or similar employment sponsorship.
Offers are determined based on a review of the candidate's qualifications, including education, training, experience, and internal pay equity considerations.
Placement within the range will generally be based on the following factors: Entry-Range: Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and core requirements of the position. Mid-Range: Candidates with three or more years of directly related professional experience and demonstrate proficiency in the key responsibilities of the role.
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's overall qualifications, experience, and alignment with the University's compensation philosophy in consultation with Human Resources. | |

Demonstrated professional experience related to Title IX, civil rights compliance, student conduct, employee relations, investigations, case management, advocacy, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing sensitive complaints, conducting intake or investigations, coordinating supportive measures, or resolving complex cases. | |
| Required Licenses and Certifications: | If not already certified in Title IX, must complete an approved Title IX coordinator or investigator certification within three months of hire. | |

| Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: | Master’s degree or Juris Doctor from an accredited institution in adult education, student affairs, higher education, social work, counseling, law/legal studies, public administration, or a related field.
Professional experience serving as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Title IX investigator, civil rights investigator, case manager, student conduct professional, employee relations professional, or comparable role.
