Job Summary

T & R Excavating is seeking a reliable and motivated Snow Plow Driver to join our team for the winter season. The successful candidate will service commercial snow removal accounts using company-provided equipment and vehicles. This position offers the opportunity for continued employment through the spring and summer construction season for the right individual.

Winter weather doesn't follow a typical schedule, so candidates must be dependable, flexible, and willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays when snowfall occurs.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Remove snow and manage ice conditions at commercial properties.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Maintain assigned routes and ensure properties are serviced in a timely manner.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding site conditions and service needs.
• Assist with additional duties as needed during the winter season.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Previous snow plowing, trucking, or heavy equipment experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
