Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic SACC Director Support to assist with before- and after-school care programs throughout the 2026–2027 school year. This position will provide support at various school locations based on daily program needs and will work closely with SACC Directors, school staff, and students.
The position will typically work during before-school and after-school program hours, with additional hours scheduled between programs to provide a full 40-hour workweek. Responsibilities will vary based on the needs of each school and may include supporting students, maintaining a clean and organized environment, assisting with daily program activities, and providing administrative support to the SACC Director.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with supervision and support of elementary-aged students in a before- and after-school setting.

Help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students.

Support daily activities, games, crafts, homework assistance, and other student programming.

Assist with classroom and program cleanup, organization, and maintaining a safe environment.

Provide administrative and organizational support to the SACC Director.

Assist with attendance, student records, communications, and other program documentation as needed.

Help support staff and program operations at various school locations.

Step in to assist at different schools based on daily staffing and program needs.

Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and SACC leadership.

Follow all school district and program policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the SACC program.
Qualifications

Previous experience working in education, childcare, youth programs, or a related field.

Elementary school experience is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working at different school locations.

Ability to work effectively with children and maintain a positive, patient demeanor.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.

Must be willing to support both student-facing and administrative responsibilities.
Schedule
This is a 40-hour-per-week position during the 2026–2027 school year. Hours will primarily be scheduled before and after the elementary school day, with additional hours worked during the school day to reach 40 hours per week.
Opportunity for Advancement
This position is designed to provide hands-on experience with SACC program operations and leadership. Based on performance, experience, and program needs, there may be an opportunity to transition into a full-time SACC Director position following the 2026–2027 school year.
