The Michigan Medicine Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking an experienced and motivated software engineering professional to build and maintain clinical applications that support safe and effective radiation therapy.
This position supports team-based workflows across a broad range of radiation therapy areas, including treatment planning, medical imaging, quality assurance, and clinical workflow automation. Alongside a dedicated team of software developers, you will collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, clinical informatics specialists, enterprise IT teams, and commercial system vendors.
Prior healthcare or radiation oncology experience is welcome but not required. We are looking for a strong software engineer who is interested in learning the clinical domain and applying sound engineering practices to meaningful problems in patient care with a commitment to patient safety. We recognize that excellent candidates may not meet every preferred qualification. If this role interests you and your experience aligns with most of the required qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
