We are seeking an energetic and reliable IT Field Services Technician to provide comprehensive operational support and manage Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) requests. In this role, you will support critical IT infrastructure across corporate offices, operational centers, and airport locations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless connectivity for high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Infrastructure Implementation & Support: Install, configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot desktop devices, mobile tech, peripherals, telephone systems, network devices, and specialized operational equipment (such as kiosks and information display systems).
* IMAC Execution: Perform physical relocations, setup, and upgrades of IT infrastructure devices (workstations, phones, network routers, peripheral units) in accordance with safety and asset management standards.
* Asset & Vendor Management: Maintain accurate asset tracking logs within corporate systems, perform pre-move verifications, update inventory records, and coordinate external vendor services when required.
* Break-Fix & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues reported by field operations, perform scheduled preventative maintenance on operational devices, and execute site surveys as needed.
* Enterprise Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Field Planning, Project Management, and cross-functional teams while providing flexible 24x7x365 on-site and on-call support coverage as scheduled."
Requirements
* Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of networks, servers, and applications (MS Office, Outlook, etc.), alongside foundational knowledge of Wi-Fi and mobility technologies.
* Hardware/Software Skills: Strong troubleshooting capabilities for computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Certifications & Experience: Mid-level experience (3–7 years) in computer hardware troubleshooting, configuration/testing, and asset management. Junior experience (0–3 years) in network support and project coordination. CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent professional experience) is preferred.
* Physical & Environmental Requirements: Ability to regularly lift, move, and transport large IT equipment weighing 30 pounds or more, and work effectively inside active construction, office, or airport environments.
* Licensing & Travel: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be open to occasional overnight travel.
* Availability: Capable of providing on-site and on-call 24x7x365 support as operational demands require.
Preferred Qualifications
