What Will You Get To Do:
- Operate precision slide/multi-slide or four-slide presses safely and consistently, including starting, stopping, feeding material, and monitoring production
- Assist with performing tooling changes, material changes, adjustments, and machine setups
- Recognize defects such as incorrect bends, dimensional variation, burrs, cracks, scratches, deformation, or other nonconforming conditions
- Monitor the cycle performance, scrap, production quantities, downtime, and quality throughout the run
What Will You Bring:
- Previous press operator experience
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to print and read blueprints
- Previous experience using using calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, and other inspection equipment to verify parts meet specifications
- Basic reading, writing, computer and math skills
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
- Ability to efficiently work in a high fast paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. while standing for long periods of time
- High School Diploma or GED required
