Support Quality Roadway Construction
As a Construction Technician, you will support the successful delivery of roadway and transportation construction projects through field inspection, documentation, and coordination. You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and project teams to verify that construction activities are completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable requirements.
What You’ll Do
? Perform field inspections of roadway construction activities to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable requirements.
? Document construction activities and project progress, including Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs), field records, quantities, and supporting documentation.
? Review and verify construction quantities and completed work to support project records and contractor payments.
? Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and inspection staff to address field conditions, construction issues, and project needs.
? Support construction quality and compliance by monitoring materials, workmanship, traffic control, and other project requirements.
? Use construction management and documentation systems, including AASHTOWare and other applicable field reporting tools.
