Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as an Application Engineer or related occupation. Two (2) years of experience with the following: Integration of Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) co-simulations, including virtual ECU models, sensor/actuator/plant or system physics models for conventional internal combustion engine or hybrid electric vehicle propulsion systems; Embedded C and Python; MATLAB and Simulink in context of plant model development and integration; GT-Power and AMESIM; Embedded controls software and automated software build processes, including gcc compiler, gdb debugger, Eclipse, Jenkins, and ETAS INCA tools; Automotive communication technologies, such as CAN, LIN, and SPI; Modeling of Hybrid Vehicle Systems, including mechatronic subsystems, in Simulink, Simscape, or GT-Power; and Debug/deploy subsystem models as system-level simulation components.
