JOB DESCRIPTION:
Monroe County Community College has a full-time Computer Support Specialist position open. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing of college owned computers and software and advanced video/data projection systems used in support of academic programs across the College campus. The Computer Support Specialist assists in the integration of traditional audiovisual systems with new instructional technologies to ensure the College keeps pace with the changing needs of higher educational instructional environments. The Computer Support Specialist assists in providing technical assistance to faculty and staff regarding computer and software systems through troubleshooting problems with desktop computers, maintaining and repairing information systems equipment, and performing installation of software and hardware for the College.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications include an associate’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field, and two or more years of experience in computer information systems.
STARTING MINIMUM WAGE: $22.41/hour SALARY
STARTING MAXIMUM WAGE: $23.78/hour
