Summary
The Processor evaluates customers products including specifications to develop manufacturing plans and produce the products according to the customer needs. This position requires extensive design & manufacturing expertise as well as an understanding of equipment cost for evaluation purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Interprets automotive product drawings and manufacturing specifications.

Understands ergonomic considerations for proposed processes.

Produces layouts, process descriptions, timing charts, sketches, graphs, content sheets, weld studies and clamping plans for proposed processes either manually or in Autocad.

Maintains knowledge of PC based software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and be able to apply good drafting and/or AUTOCAD skills.

Works with all Engineering disciplines to verify the viability of processes.

Attends all required meetings to obtain needed information and present processes to UTEC Management and customers.

Exhibits excellent communications skills as well as maintain current technical knowledge.

Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.

Adheres to the Quality System and participate in continuous improvement.

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Education and/or Experience
-
Three (3) years related experience and/or training in automotive robotic welding systems processing and build environment.
