Role Purpose
The lending systems analyst leverages deep lending domain expertise alongside strong technical aptitude to support, design and configure systems including loan origination systems, product and pricing engines, point of sale systems and loan servicing platforms.
This position has a minimum hourly rate of $35.29, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferable skills.
Primary Responsibilities
As an impact-driven team, our work is collaborative and dynamic. This role, like all positions at orsa, will be counted on to perform a variety of tasks as directed by leadership. Some of the core deliverables for this role are:
Lending System Administration and Configuration
- Serve as the primary lending systems analyst by managing and refining the system platforms; and by troubleshooting issues and underlying causes.
- Responsible for the design, documentation, building, testing, and enhancement deployment of various lending systems.
- Own workflow developments and enhancements, system conversions and integrations, identify and remediate system vulnerabilities, and facilitate the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
- Leverage system knowledge to partner with various areas of the credit union to advance organizational initiatives and support operations.
- Manage the full life cycle of system upgrades and releases, including initial assessment, collaboration with Lending teams to analyze impact, execution of associated system changes and communication.
- Combine research with operational and system knowledge to make recommendations and establish requirements for system and process changes.
- Maintain system and procedural documentation.
Project Execution
- Participate in RFP processes to guide the organization toward appropriate decisions regarding new software.
- Support organizational and departmental projects involving Lending systems.
- Lead requirements gathering with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into precise technical specifications.
- Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including creating test plans, executing UAT, and validating system conversions and integrations before production deployment.
- Document system architecture, data flows, and SOPs to facilitate knowledge transfer and support future scalability.
Champion Operational Excellence and Efficiency
- Shadow Lending team members to better understand their workflows. Identify opportunities to drive efficiency through system enhancements and reimagined workflows.
- Collaborate with Lending and AI teams to identify opportunities for robotic process automation and AI driven workflows. Provide support in the design, build and execution of AI processes.
- Leverage technology solutions for continuous improvements of processes and service for team members and members.
Qualification and Competency Requirements

Typically, we’d expect a great lending systems analyst to have built capabilities through experiences that would include a minimum of:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a systems analyst.
- Industry Experience:
- Familiarity with typical lending products services, systems, and workflows.
- Familiarity with Encompass and related integrations, Optimal Blue, Blend and FICS Mortgage Servicer.
