Compensation for this role is $95,000- $105,000 annually. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
As the Fleet Technology & Systems Manager you will lead the strategy, optimization, and support of RXO Dedicated Transportation's operational technology ecosystem. Working cross-functionally with operations, technology teams, vendors, and business leaders, you will drive application performance, user adoption, data visibility, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role serves as a key partner to Dedicated Operations, ensuring technology solutions support business objectives, operational excellence, and scalable growth.
What your day-to-day will look like:'
Develop and execute application strategies aligned with operational and organizational goals
Establish technology roadmaps and prioritize enhancements based on business needs and user feedback
Serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Technology, Account Management, and third-party vendors
Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations, and optimization projects
Define project scope, requirements, timelines, risks, and success metrics while managing project execution
Coordinate testing, user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and post-launch support
Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities for automation, visibility, and efficiency improvements
Develop and leverage dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting tools to support operational decision-making
Investigate application and business system issues, determine root causes, and drive resolution efforts
Manage vendor relationships, escalations, enhancement requests, and stakeholder communications
Support training, documentation, change management, and user adoption initiatives
Mentor application support team members and lead cross-functional project teams
Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance service, productivity, operational performance, and customer outcomes
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience
Experience supporting business applications, operational technology platforms, or logistics systems
Experience leading system implementations, technology projects, or process improvement initiatives
Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships and driving business outcomes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools
It'd be great if you also have:
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), fleet management applications, or logistics technology platforms
Experience with TMW Operations, Samsara, Trimble FleetHub, TMT Fleet Maintenance, or similar operational systems
Experience with data analytics, reporting solutions, application support, or business systems management
Experience supporting dedicated transportation, truckload, LTL, intermodal, drayage, fleet maintenance, warehouse management, or yard management operations
Knowledge of API integrations, system interfaces, and application connectivity concepts
Experience leading change management and user adoption initiatives
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or related professional certification
Experience leveraging emerging technologies, automation tools, or artificial intelligence solutions to improve business processes
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic technology initiatives
