Eisenhower Center is growing and looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Care Workers to join our team.
Do you have a caregiving or healthcare background? Do you have experience providing quality care, assisting with daily activities, or redirecting behaviors? Are you familiar with individuals with Community Mental Health (CMH) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) needs?

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and meaningful opportunities that help residents achieve their individual goals.
- Follow each resident's person-centered and behavioral support plans.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Build trusting relationships with residents while protecting their rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and other personal support needs.
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities as needed.
- Attend appointments, advocate for residents, and obtain necessary documentation when required.
- Remain awake and immediately accessible when assigned to homes requiring 24/7 care.
- Accurately complete Daily Progress Notes (DPN), Direct Data Sheets (DDS), and other required documentation.
- Report changes in resident behavior, needs, or safety concerns appropriately.
- Follow all organizational policies, procedures, training requirements, and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with residents, coworkers, and visitors.
- Work scheduled shifts consistently and arrive on time for all shifts and shift reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Dependability, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous healthcare or caregiving experience preferred.
- Experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Ability to pass all required background screenings.
- Ability to follow instructions and organizational policies.
- Ability to meet the physical and emotional demands of the position.
