Eisenhower Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Specialist to help maintain our facilities, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.

If you have a background in facility maintenance and hands-on experience with general repairs, drywall, painting, electrical, or plumbing work, we invite you to consider joining our team.

All offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable background screenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete monthly safety inspections of facilities.
• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and other designated areas.
• Participate in an emergency maintenance on-call rotation.
• Repair and paint walls and ceilings as needed.
• Repair doors, windows, and other building fixtures.
• Perform general facility repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and other items.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance and related tasks.
• Perform electrical and plumbing tasks within the scope of training and qualifications.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns.
• Help maintain a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Complete other maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification or training in electrical and/or plumbing work preferred.
• Experience with general repairs, drywall, painting, and facility maintenance.
• Ability to safely use common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move items as needed.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious work ethic.
• Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
