Volt is immediately hiring for Manufacturing Assemblers in Sandusky, MI. 4-Day Work Week * 1st & 2nd Shift Available * Overtime Available As a Manufacturing Assembler you will: * Assemble products and components according to blueprints, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures. * Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation. * Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment to complete product assembly. * Test and calibrate components and mechanisms to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications. * Inspect finished assemblies and identify products that do not meet test or tolerance requirements. * Troubleshoot, repair, and rework products as needed. * Perform tool, fixture, and test setup changeovers. * Maintain quality and productivity standards while meeting production goals. * Follow established safety procedures and housekeeping requirements. * Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production schedules. * Perform additional duties as assigned. This is a full-time opportunity. Available Schedules: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime (as required) * Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM * Saturday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday; 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Overtime (as required) * Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM * Saturday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM The ideal candidate will have: Required Skills & Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required. * Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and assembly documentation. * Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products. * Ability to maintain production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Excellent reliability, dependability, and attendance. * Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Skills & Qualifications * 1+ year of manufacturing, production, mechanical assembly, or industrial assembly experience. * Experience reading Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routers. * Experience testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, or repairing assemblies. * Familiarity with quality inspection processes and manufacturing documentation.
