GFL Environmental is looking for an Industrial Fabricator to join our team in Byron Center, MI. This role is responsible for fabricating finished goods using industrial cutting tools, machines, and PVC high-temperature air welders. Compensation range is $19-21/hr. Full-time permanent position with benefit package. We are willing to train the right candidate for this position. Key Responsibilities: * Review blueprints and daily production plans provided by the Product Manager. * Utilize rolls of purchased PVC and Fiberglass materials to fabricate into finished goods. * Operate industrial cutting tools, machines, and PVC high-temperature air welders on a daily basis. * Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products safely. * Perform basic math calculations (adding and subtracting) for material measurements and production tracking. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Requirements: * Ability to read, write, and speak English. * Proficient ability to utilize hand tools and perform precise measurements with tape measure. * Ability to operate a forklift. * Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively alone. * Strong basic math skills (adding and subtracting). * Ability to lift materials up to 40 pounds throughout the day. * Flexibility to work overtime as required by customer needs. #GFLTalent Who we are: GFL Environmental is the only major diversified environmental services company in North America; operating across Canada and the United States; offering services in solid waste management, liquid waste management, and infrastructure development.
