Location: Warren, MI
Pay Rate: $46.94/hour
Schedule: Primarily 40-hour workweeks with occasional overtime. Some travel (10-30%) may be required.
Looking for an opportunity to support exciting new product launches in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a Manufacturing Process Support Specialist to help drive issue resolution, launch readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives for automotive manufacturing operations.
Job Duties
Lead issue tracking and resolution efforts for new product launches and manufacturing operations
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams
Monitor risks, action items, and project timelines to ensure successful launch execution
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive accountability for issue resolution
Maintain issue management systems, reporting tools, and databases
Develop dashboards, metrics, and executive-level reports using Excel, Power BI, and related tools
Support process improvements, workflow development, and escalation management
Train team members on issue management processes and best practices
Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related field
3+ years of automotive manufacturing experience
Experience with issue tracking systems, reporting tools, and database management
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting experience
Ability to lead meetings, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of automotive manufacturing experience
Experience with Power BI, SQL, SharePoint, Power Apps, or workflow automation tools
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience creating dashboards and KPI reporting
