Qualifications
- Professional automotive body repair, restoration, or custom-car experience
- Proven experience producing high-end or show-quality bodywork
- Strong skills in panel alignment, body gapping, surfacing, and block sanding
- Experience with metal repair, rust repair, welding, and fabrication
- Ability to create smooth panels, straight body lines, and consistent gaps
- Knowledge of body fillers, glazing products, primers, and preparation materials
- Must be State of Michigan certified in applicable repair categories or have a valid Michigan mechanic trainee permit
- Exceptional attention to detail, patience, and pride in craftsmanship
- Experience with classic, custom, luxury, or collector vehicles is strongly preferred
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
