- Current R.N. licensure to practice in the State of Michigan.
- Must have at least 1 year of professional experience in Maternal Child Healthcare: obstetrics, prenatal health care management, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Indian Health Programming and local Tribal community.
- Ability to work with and respect cultural and racial differences.
- Working knowledge of community resources related to health and human services, maternal and child health, and family support.
- Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license, be insurable to operate KBIC fleet vehicles, and sign the KBIC Driving Record Check form.
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Working knowledge of general office and clerical practices, good organizational, verbal and written skills, and strong computer skills, including word processing and electronic file management.
- Valid Michigan driver’s license, violation-free driving record, and availability of a working vehicle.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Previous experience working with Native American organizations preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work occasional evenings/weekends.
- Must be able to obtain a satisfactory clearance in accordance with the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act Background Investigations Policy.
- Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory result of a Security Background Check, pre-employment drug testing (including THC), and pre-employment physical.
