Job Duties:
Develop and implement controls improvements using plant monitoring software
Lead troubleshooting to find root cause and resolve performance issues
Coordinate resources and break problems into action items
Train manufacturing personnel and plant electricians
Integrate equipment into plant IT platforms and quality tools
Troubleshoot machinery, robotics, automation, and downtime issues
Review installations; reprogram equipment for engineering changes
Maintain backups for automation and robotics installations
Participate in equipment safety risk assessments
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of related experience
PLC/CNC and controls software experience
Strong leadership, teambuilding, and communication skills
Ability to work with maintenance and process teams
Microsoft Suite familiarity
PLC controller experience (Siemens, Rexroth, Allen Bradley)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Robotics and computer vision experience
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
8D and 5-Why problem-solving skills
Familiarity with UL508A and NFPA79
Siemens TIA Portal and Fanuc experience
