The research lab of Dr. Mara Duncan Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School (Ann Arbor) seeks a highly motivated individual to work as a Research Lab Tech Intermediate/Associate (sites.google.com/a/umich.edu/duncanlab/). You will join a dynamic team and assist in an ongoing project on the molecular mechanisms of membrane traffic. The Duncan lab is an inclusive environment that prioritizes a growth mindset. - Research Lab Tech Associate: HS Diploma or Assoc Degree and 0-1 year experience is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Research Lab Tech Intermediate: HS Diploma or Assoc Degree and 1-3 years experience is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Coursework or work-place experience with sterile technique
- Cell biology or related coursework
- Experience in molecular genetics and additional experience in one or more additional relevant research techniques
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
