1. Must possess a bachelors degree in Counseling (Psychology), Guidance/School Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology (Clinical, School, Forensic, Child designations), or Social Work
2. Must qualify as a Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) or be eligible to become qualified.
3. Must complete MDHHS wraparound training within 90-days of hire.
4. Must possess a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment.
5. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification.
Preferred but not Required1. Three (3) years of experience working with children with serious emotional disturbance (SED), meeting the requirements for a qualified Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) preferred.
2. Bilingual candidates highly desired.
3. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
4. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
