Job Summary:
Supply Chain Analysts improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection, analysis, and process improvements. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining an acceptable level of MRO / Supply items.
- Design, implement, and monitor a supply item inventory system.
- Train all personnel that consume supply items on how to scan and record what is taken from inventory.
- Monitor MRO / Supply item usage and determine minimum inventory levels.
- Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts.
- Perform annual price negotiations for all MRO / Supply items, utilizing consumption history.
- Identify and implement improvement ideas in shipping and receiving departments.
- Monitor, Analyze, and rate supplier quality, timing, and pricing annually.
- Report on supplier performance to management as required.
- Seek out diversity / minority owned suppliers and retain vendor certification.
- Assess and onboard potential new vendors enforcing compliance and quality standards.
- Manage all services and contracts as needed including lawn care, snow plowing, lawn irrigation, janitorial services etc.
- Implement and ensure full utilization of the Plex purchase requisition process.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communications and business writing skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent Mathematic and analytical skills
- Proven knowledge of inventory management
