Job Summary:
• Working in accordance with verbal and written instructions and established procedure, and as
assigned by the supervisor, perform a variety of duties.

• Employee shall not, either during the period of employment or thereafter, except where authorized
or directed by Patz in writing, disclose to others either verbally, electronically or otherwise, use for
employee's own benefit, copy, or make notes of any confidential information or trade secrets other
than that which is in public knowledge, of or relating to Patz’ business, which may come to
employee’s knowledge during employment with Patz.
Essential Job Duties:
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
• Working from prints, sketches, and instructions given, construct a variety of welding jigs and welding
fixtures necessary to produce finished parts per specifications given using a variety of machine tools
and precision measuring devices.
• Determine material requirements and requisition material as required.
• Maintain, repair, adjust or replace tooling associated with fixtures.
• Maintain computer records on all welding jigs and fixtures including their location and costs and
activities. All of these records must be updated and supplied to the Welding Supervisor on a regular
basis.
• Jigs and fixtures shall be designed, built, labeled and guarded to meet OSHA requirements and
Patz Corporation, Inc. standards.
• Ergonomic factors along with production standards shall be considered in the design and
construction of all jigs and fixtures.
• Assist welders in set up as required and when trouble shooting die and jig problems.
• Pull welding jigs and fixtures as required for production and inspect before use and prior to putting
away at end of production run for damage and wear.
• Check all machine tools for proper operation and report any malfunctions to the Welding Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
