What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a high intensity action-oriented leader to join our Robotaxi Fleet Team. This position requires willingness to adapt and excel in a dynamic fast-paced environment. As a Fleet Support Lead, you will lead a team of Robotaxi Fleet Support Specialists to ensure that our fleet of vehicles are properly maintained and charged while meeting the daily deadlines.
This role may require the flexibility of traveling to domestic or international destinations as necessary.
What You'll Do
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to volunteers, including onboarding, training, scheduling, and shift coverage to achieve operational goals and program objectives
Oversee daily Robotaxi fleet readiness, including interior/exterior cleaning, vehicle upkeep standards, charging coordination, and condition checks across the fleet
Coordinate vehicle movement and positioning based on operational status - deployment, charging, service, and repair - while managing the Service/Repair Offline Queue to minimize downtime
Launch and support AP Drivers to ensure timely execution of daily workflows, troubleshooting operational issues and escalating as necessary
Conduct audits to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures while tracking inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of supplies
Partner cross functionally with Operations, Fleet, Engineering, and Logistics teams, communicating daily priorities, updates, and changes to ensure alignment across all shifts
Utilize Tesla systems to monitor volunteer activity, fleet status, and key operational metrics; maintain accurate documentation, volunteer records, and reporting while supporting special projects as needed
What You'll Bring
3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary software systems
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as needed
Experience in operations, logistics, customer experience, hospitality, or volunteer program management is a plus
