Distribution Center Supervisor
Location: Monroe, MI
Pay: $26.26+ per hour
Schedule: Onsite | 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM | Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Supervisor to lead warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This temporary position is responsible for supervising warehouse associates, supporting inventory accuracy, driving operational performance, and ensuring safe and efficient inbound, outbound, cross-dock, and inventory activities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of 15-35 warehouse employees across shipping, receiving, inventory, and cross-dock operations.
Monitor productivity, inventory accuracy, safety performance, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
Lead shift meetings, communicate daily goals, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Coach, develop, and motivate team members while addressing attendance, performance, and workplace concerns.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with operations, logistics, inventory, and leadership teams to resolve challenges and achieve business goals.
Maintain a customer-focused approach while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience required.
Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to multitask, make decisions, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work assigned shift, overtime, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
