C++ Software Engineer QT/QML Application Development Sterling Heights, MI $51.69 - $56.32/Hour U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law We are hiring a C++ Software Engineer specializing in Qt/QML application development to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications and intuitive graphical user interfaces. This role supports C++ software development, Qt framework and QML UI development, multithreaded and networked applications, performance optimization, debugging, and cross-platform software development in an Agile environment. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++, Qt, and QML. * Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces using the Qt framework and QML. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, and deliver new application features. * Write high-quality, reusable, maintainable, and efficient C++ code using object-oriented programming principles. * Optimize application performance and troubleshoot software, UI, and runtime issues. * Support multithreaded, networked, and cross-platform application development. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality and development best practices. * Apply current Qt/QML and C++ development practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law * Proficiency in C++ software development and object-oriented programming (OOP). * Strong experience with the Qt framework and QML for graphical user interface (GUI) development. * Experience with multithreading, networking, and advanced C++ programming concepts. * Experience using version control systems such as Git. * Experience working within Agile software development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 4+ years of relevant software development experience. * Experience developing cross-platform applications. * Experience using software debugging and performance optimization tools.
