Position Summary
Stateline Chevrolet GMC is seeking a motivated and dependable Auto Detailer to join our team in Iron River. This full-time position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance and presentation of our vehicle inventory. The Auto Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing new and pre-owned vehicles for lot display and customer delivery while ensuring each vehicle meets dealership quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and detail new and pre-owned vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring they are clean, presentable, and ready for handoff.
- Perform lot preparation on incoming and existing inventory.
- Assist with new vehicle setup and preparation.
- Clean vehicle windows, wheels, tires, and other surfaces.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and appearance before placement on the lot or customer delivery.
- Move vehicles as needed throughout the dealership property.
- Maintain detailing equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
