Position Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union to deliver on its mission, vision, and brand promise. You will do this by living out our core values in every service contact to both internal and external members. Essential Duties
- Analyze and present solutions for new products and offer suggestions on improving existing product performance.
- Define market share and offer insights on opportunities as defined by strategic plan.
- Operates as cross functional team member collaborating with peers and winning as a team.
- Understand the communities that we serve from not only the data aspect but the member experience and behavior.
- Create and present reporting and insights through narrative-driven presentations and/or effective data visualizations to department leaders to achieve business initiatives.
- Fulfills data requests, looking for synergy between requests and usefulness to more than just the person/department requesting.
- Supports data system solutions, troubleshoots issues, and resolves incidents while communicating with end user.
- Successfully obtain Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation through America's Credit Unions within first year of service with M1.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Deliver on the Credit Union’ Service Promises in every service situation.
- Develop a plan to analyze and enhance product lines in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Collaborate with the management team on special projects in relation to strategic initiatives.
- Analyze all branches to create programs/initiatives that drive deposit and loan growth within the branches.
- Analyze membership to find growth opportunities using market segmentation.
- Travel to our Michigan locations on average once per quarter for team meetings, with travel dates mandatory during summits.
- Ensure continued education to maintain and demonstrate knowledge of credit union operations, industry trends, and technologies related to analytics, statistics and reporting.
- Maintain technical knowledge in all required systems including SQL, Tableau, and Snowflake by completing educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, accurate manner. Provide informed, professional, accurate service and support to all members and teammates.
- Responsible for being knowledgeable of member experience trends, market potential, and generational segment behaviors to ensure a solid future-thinking strategy.
