Responsible for providing support in the execution of creative software solutions, designs, development, and technical troubleshooting beyond routine or conventional approaches in order to build solutions and break down technical problems; develop secure and high-quality production code; review and debug code; identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues in order to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems; provide technical software applications and processes support, including cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile applications; utilize and apply knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Big Data, Python, SQL, ETL processes, Kafka, Scala, data visualization, machine learning, and GIT/GitHub to perform assigned duties; assist with Software Development Life Cycle and automation, as well as continuous delivery methods; provide support with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, including Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, AWS; and apply advanced understanding of Agile methodologies including CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
Location: Troy, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $139,360 per year (Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), STD/LTD, life insurance, and EAP)

Education: Bachelors – Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training: None
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Data Analyst, as a Data Engineer, or in a related occupation.
